A Letter to Our Students: Gratitude, Growth, and the Journey Ahead 

As March comes to a close, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we've shared this semester. Through this Service-Learning course, you have each played a vital role in furthering the mission of the Pickney Foundation. Your commitment, passion, and eagerness to learn have been nothing short of inspiring.

Through the Health Empowerment Mentoring Program (HEMP), we're bringing healthcare professionals to the table, ensuring you gain valuable insights and real-world knowledge. The upcoming Q&A sessions are not only about learning but also about preparing you for the impact you will make in your careers and communities.

As we step into April, I encourage you to stay engaged and finish strong. With your semester wrapping up in May, there is still so much to gain and contribute. And, of course, we’re looking forward to our exciting spa giveaway to one special single mother on April 30. 

Above all, I want you to know how much I appreciate you. Your presence, energy, and willingness to serve remind me why I continue to pour into this work. You are the future changemakers, and I am honored to be part of your journey.
